Its Significance

When I first started classical singing lessons (2001), one of the first songs I sang was called "Die Lorelei" (literally, The Loreley). I looked up the legend as part of translating the song, and it was my nickname for a short time. A week later, I adopted this nick on a Sailor Moon community, and it was a natural step for me to call myself the same when I joined the dolling community the next year (2002).

Wait a minute, isn't there another 'Lorelei' on (place name here)?

The answer - most likely. Lorelei is a popular name. Since I joined the dolling community, there have been at least two others who have taken up that alias on other dolling message boards. The other two are Kim, of Loreleiz Dollz, and Nora of the Dragon's Chest. I can honestly say that there's no one else with the e-mail of zerachinhime, or with the site of Magic Lessons XDD.
